Family and Friends,

Happy Wednesday! The last couple of months have been quite a journey. Since this was very unexpected and difficult, I learned again to lean on the Lord heavily for direction and understanding. I am confident in where the Lord is directing. This journey has been so exciting and scary, peaceful and unsettling, unbelievable and very believable all in one thrilling trip. I am grateful for my time at the Impact Center. I wish the best for Pastor Luther, the Impact Center, and New Covenant. There are friends I made and experiences that I had that will forever make me different. In a good way!

For the last 2 years we had a program at the Impact Center that focused on helping business leaders influence their corporate culture for the Kingdom. The name of the ministry is The Edge. Encouraging and inspiring leaders (those who have influence over others) is at the core of what I did with students at Youth for Christ. Students have a unique influence to lead their friends to a relationship with Jesus or spur their friends on to a greater relationship with Jesus. I have always cherished conversations with others where we could have faith focused discussions that strengthen each other. The theme for The Edge is “As Iron Sharpens Iron.” There is nothing more enjoyable than when I was made better because of a faith-based conversation or if the Lord uses me to inspire a Christian Leader to be better and reveal Jesus in their corporate culture. There is also always the possibility that these conversations will lead to someone beginning a relationship with Jesus! Hallelujah!

The Edge was founded by a friend of mine from Auburn Alabama Kevin Flannagan. Almost 5 years ago he founded this ministry with other business owners that were convicted about revealing Jesus in their corporate culture. Because of Kevin's passion this ministry will soon be in close to 10 cities in the next couple of years. The Edge Fort Wayne will have its own 501c3 nonprofit status, website, board, and funding. There is no place where we spend more time than when we are at work. Let’s take our workplace back for the Lord!

The Edge will offer free the following resources: We encourage everyone to read a Proverb a day. There are 31 Proverbs so you will need to double up on months that are less than 31 days. The Edge Daily is an app where you can read a daily devotional written about a verse in the Proverb of that day. Every Thursday there is a weekly 5 minute The Edge Challenge call at 8:50 a.m. central time. On the first of every month, you will receive The Edge Monthly Challenge! The update will be short and is meant to update, encourage, challenge, and inspire. There will be annual events also. In the past 3+ weeks I have had 50+ appointments sharing about my transition and about The Edge and I am receiving positive feedback and hearing that some are extremely excited about engaging.

Finally, but most importantly please pray for The Edge ministry. We will be launching it in December, but we do not have our 501C3, yet it is in process. Without the EIN/tax ID nonprofit number I cannot launch my website, get a bank account, start payroll, or take donations. But I can meet with whoever wants to hear. We have a website in process too. I will be raising funds. I hope many of you will support me in this new ministry. I will start Payroll in December once I receive my EIN. If you would like to meet and talk, please call, email, or text me. I would love it! There will be more details in the December Monthly Challenge!
