December 2023: Challenge Call

Family Friends, 

I pray you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I hope you are experiencing the Lord in a special way this season. That spiritual mindset is the best way to see what the Lord is doing and what he wants from each of us. Pray as we officially launch The Edge Fort Wayne January 1, 2024!

Do you like Challenges? I have not always but I have in the last few years. Would you consider accepting these challenges that I believe are life-changing?

• The Edge Daily Challenge 1: I would love to see if at least 100 of us take on a challenge and encourage others to do the same and read a proverb a day, every day for 2024. I figure we can all use more wisdom, right? There are 31 chapters in Proverbs 7 months have 31 days and the other months just double up on the last day. After reading the Proverb of the day, download “The Edge Daily” Challenge app and read the devotion for the day. It is short but impactful! I know the better we are as individuals the more we can influence and better our corporate cultures. Ask your family, friends, and fellow employees to take The Edge Daily Challenge also. If you take this Challenge reply to this email and say, “I’m in.” Also let me know how many of your family, friends, or coworkers are in.
• The Edge Weekly Challenge 2: Mark your calendar every Thursday at 8:50 (eastern time) for the 5-minute The Edge Weekly Challenge Call. You will hear from leaders in various fields challenge us to influence our workplace and community for Jesus. Fort Wayne will be doing all the Thursdays in January.
• The Edge Monthly Challenge 3: Every month starting in January I will send The Edge Monthly Challenge with an idea(s) that I have come across from meeting with many of you that will speak to our hearts and make everyday a day the Lord will be proud of by pushing us in taking on new Challenges that help us be better and influence others.
• The Edge Annual Challenge 4: The Edge 1st Golf outing August 22nd, 2024, at Coyote Creek. Put it on your calendar. The Edge Annual Challenge Breakfast date TBD.

It is time to ask for your support. I need your best gift as we launch this ministry. We have built up expenses from developing this exciting ministry and I am hoping for a special December of giving. Would you consider a lead gift here at the end of 2023? Everything is in place except for the 501c3 status is in process. My attorney and accountant both assure me that I am permitted to take donations but cannot give tax-deductible receipts until The Edge Fort Wayne is approved. That should be in December or January. I have been assured that there is no reason The Edge Fort Wayne would not be approved. If for some reason our 501c3 is denied I will return your donation. We could use your help.
