I love being around people who show a zest for life. They always seem to be living in the midst of some great adventure. Often they are doing something amazing, or at least unique. I have friends who always seem to be up to something new. Often I call or text and they respond that they are in Africa, Nepal, Cuba, Carmel, or some other corner of the planet. It often involves ministry or work. One thing I love about these guys is that it often involves both. They live with a focus that speaks to the central theme that they live without limits other than His. When God or opportunity says go, they go. They anticipate that He is there waiting for them and will direct their journey for His glory and their potential prosperity. Solomon understood this. Solomon lived this. Imagine growing up in King David’s household as the heir apparent to his tumultuous kingdom. We are gifted with a similar promise. As God’s heirs, we walk into every moment of every day anticipating a great supernatural work right around the corner. He promises that He has gone before us, and as we walk faithfully in Him, the next encounter is going to be a good work that He has waiting for us. Knowing that is one thing. Believing it deep in our soul and living in that truth is another. As we grow in wisdom and understanding, we look forward to our next moment with great anticipation.
