“When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.”

One of the best things about what I get to do in leading this ministry of business leaders is hearing all the stories of how God is working through His leaders in many different companies to expand His Kingdom. There are literally thousands of companies in America whose top-level leaders love God and are committed to allowing Him to influence their corporate cultures through that relationship. This past week, I heard of a company with 16,000 employees that is seeing almost 500 a month become followers of Christ or recommit their lives to living for God. Another worldwide company with 300,000 employees recently added a chaplain to one of their locations, with plans to expand that to all their locations as they see the impact. I could share dozens of these stories that I’ve learned in the last couple of weeks. I love sharing these stories with other business leaders and hearing their response of praise to God. That is what Solomon is talking about. As these righteous, God-following leaders pursue God’s agenda rather than their own, amazing and miraculous things are happening. We are certainly aware that there are stories of wicked leaders in other companies—or at the very least those who pursue a very different agenda than Kingdom leaders. However, I believe the light is expanding and the dark is retreating. Today, live as the righteous—and rejoice. #BeTheEdge
