“Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path.”
Today’s English lesson: “If-then statements are known as conditional statements or material implications. They consist of an ‘if’ clause, called the antecedent, and a ‘then’ clause, called the consequent, forming a hypothesis and its conclusion. Conditional statements are fundamental in logic and computer programming, representing a hypothesis and a resulting conclusion.” (AI Resource) Before celebrating my brilliance, I must confess I looked this up. This verse represents one of those famous Solomon if-then statements: If you do this, then that will happen. Accepting, storing up, and applying God’s words and wisdom in our journey results in knowing how to live every moment of our lives. Where we live and what we do when we live there can often be challenging questions. However, how we live in every moment is not. God clearly directs us to live obediently to His guidance and to do it kindly while loving Him. It is truly amazing how much easier those other decisions become when our lives are lived that way. Today, obey His “ifs” and experience His beautiful “thens.” #BeTheEdge
