“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.”

If I could give my grandkids only one sentence of advice, it might be the first seven words of this verse. If they could always live with love and faithfulness, what amazing people they would be. If I could do the same, what an amazing person I would be. Want to change the world? Start by applying this counsel in your own life and watch it spread. Love and faithfulness are the byproducts of a life lived for our Savior. It is a life of true impact. This is not a verse about power or control. However, genuine love and faithfulness are powerful—and they inspire others to follow your lead. The people who have most influenced who I am were those who exuded these traits and awakened a deep desire in me to be like them. I’ve often said that the people I’ve known the longest helped shape who I am. Part of the reason I’ve known them so long is that I will go to almost any length to keep them in my life. Love and kindness are the result of a Spirit-filled life. Today, let them ooze from every pore of your being. #BeTheEdge
