“Evildoers do not understand what is right, but those who seek the Lord understand it fully.” ‬‬

I love this truth—not necessarily the ignorance of evil people, but the understanding of what is right that comes with knowing the Lord. As a gift of new life, God sends His Spirit to indwell the believer. He becomes our filter—or maybe more accurately, our compass. He whispers truth to us continually, or at least as long as we walk in purity before Him. When we harbor or justify sin in our hearts, God allows us to continue on, with Him silently observing. That is an incredibly dangerous way to live. When we recognize the danger of living without the Companion speaking into our journey, we repent and return. At times, I get frustrated with leaders who seem bent on making poor decisions and putting others at risk. They seem foolishly ignorant. However, it is a fact that lost people will make lost decisions—they are incapable of truly understanding what is right. There has been discussion about working for a company or in a practice led by lost leaders. I believe God goes with His followers into those places if He leads them there. It also gives the believer an opportunity to reflect Him and His Kingdom values. Today, do what is right. #BeTheEdge
