“The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.”

I have reviewed movies for a number of radio stations for decades. I love a good action movie or historical war movie better than almost anything else. The hero character or characters are almost always the ones who stand and battle no matter what odds are against them. in real life and especially as a Kingdom person that is who I want to be with in any battle I may face. That is also who I want to be, especially for my family and friends. In real life that person rarely battles with guns and fists. They battle with truth and righteousness. They take on the forces of evil with God’s Spirit leading the way. When the wicked come up against God’s people operating in His power for his Kingdom purposes they flee. Not, they might flee. They have no choice but to flee. Satan can throw everything he has at a Christ follower but when he comes up against one of God’s chosen warriors he finds them covered in His righteousness and protected. It’s not our righteousness that makes us bold as a lion, it’s His. Our righteousness is, as Paul put it, filthy rags. His is immaculate and indestructible. Today live in His righteousness and be bold. #BeTheEdge
