“when he gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.”

This sounds like a Marvel or DC comics super hero. Maybe a Greek god. In reality Solomon is describing the creation at the hand of the one true God. I know I’ve referenced the lyrics to Nicole C. Mullins song “My Redeemer” before. This song reflects this chapter of Proverbs as does the beginning of Romans and many other places in scripture that describe the amazing work of The Creator.

“Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
And who told the ocean, you can only come this far?
And who showed the moon where to hide ’til evening?
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?
Well, I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
All of creation tesifies
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives.” (Mullins)

Every day, many times throughout the day, as you glance at the sky, a tree, a baby or a puppy these words should echo in your spirit. Even if they don’t we all have this truth buried deep in our soul. The creator of everything including our life and our redemption story is always present. Praise should slip out even when we don’t plan it or expect it. Even if it is done silently in our heart and mind. No one creates beauty like our God. No one creates life like Him, well, no one creates life at all, but our God. Today look around you and within you and reflect, with praise. #BeTheEdge

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬
